Phenomenal açaà bowl filled with fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries and banana slices) with granola, shredded coconuts, but minus the honey ( they usually serve this on top). Every bite has a heap load of berry-goodness! Also not super sweet.. the way I like it.
Tried the lentil soup here the other day and it wasn't salty or oily. Quite flavorful for a quick high protein low fat filling meal. Get the large. It's $5.99 and totally with it.
Lastly, the Ocean salad. I like salmon and they gave me a pretty big piece of it the fillet, but wasn't crazy about the dressing or cranberries. I much prefer fresh fruit like blueberries and strawberries. So I'm trying the Sanatos salad with tuna fish added b/c it has a balsamic vinaigrette based dressing with strawberries and blueberries.
They are closed on Sundays.
Really fresh and healthy and super tasty.
Will come back for sure.
Btw, it was raining heavy yesterday afternoon and I didn't have an umbrella and my car was parked several blocks away. Hernandez, the owner insisted that I take their umbrella and he would walk with me to my car. Need to share this because they went above and beyond.
So friendly this place. So kind.
Blessings to your business!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tony R.Miami, FL71135Jul 13, 2023
I was going to order online, but I decided not to because I noticed in the checkout that they insert fees lumped in with the sales tax. I have no idea why they would do this. I've never seen any other restaurant do this. I find it shady so I passed. If you need to charge another $1.50 for an item. Just add it to the price on the menu. Don't try to sneak it in with sales tax.

My lunch was a Neptune salad. What a delicious and flavorful meal! It comes with salmon, cranberries, mango, goat cheese, slices of almonds and more good things. I'm a big drinker of tea, so I had Pink Tea. It's a blend of different antioxidants, no sugar, natural, delicious and. refreshing.
I found some products from Colombia, like coffee and chocolate. I bought a small chocolate (60% Colombian cacao).
I was delighted with the gluten free lavender cookie!! I need to go back, just because of the cookie and of course because the great service of the beautiful ladies that take care of this place.
The place made me feel "at home", it has some special vibes, specially on the second floor.
They have outdoor tables.
It's dog friendly.
I recommend it to eat something good and healthy.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marisol S.Miami, FL253134142Jan 8, 2022
Just had the Mediterranean Wrap and cleanse me juice. Perfect amount of food. Great balance between savory, fresh and sweet. While it's not super inexpensive, the price compliments the quality of food and the freshness that you are consuming. Service was great. The best part is they have the cutest, upstairs dining area (my future office) that is quaint and cozy. The Libby cold brew was also much needed and delicious. Perfect coffee flavor - not too bitter. The cleanse me juice was exactly what I needed after my walk. My bf had the detox me. If you're into earthy, tangy, refreshing juices, this is a must try.
I took a vegan dark chocolate and pistachio bar to go... stay tuned on the update once I try it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 262342218Dec 8, 2018

Excelent place for lunch! I ordered in the restaurant for take out and it took 15 minutes to get my food ready and packed. I have to say it was AMAZING! big portion and everything was fresh and perfectly flavored. Highly recommended, I will be coming back.

It's a little store by Downtown Coral Gables just run by one person so you usually have to wait a little bit. I like the Vegan Burger which comes on Ezekiel buns. Apparently, the almond cream cheese being used is not 100% vegan which doesn't bother me as I am not a vegan but FYI for those who are. They also have a lot of fresh juices and healthy breakfast foods like an arepa. Parking is a bit difficult as it is in a one-way street with limited spots.

Sanatos is a small, cute health food market in the Gables that also offers sandwiches, arepas and fruit bowls. They have a tiny area to sit upstairs. My sister and I both ordered acai bowls. Everyone was very nice at the counter and they brought us up the bowls. My bowl was good but I was expecting everything to be organic. I felt like the granola was a pre-packaged one I could get at Publix. It was still good though. I would like to try some of their other options next time.

Sanatos continues to sell their "almond cheese" as a non-dairy alternative when it has been brought to their attention time & time again that it does, in fact, contain ingredients derived from cows! They even use it on their Vegan Panini! I used to get breakfast here fairly often & from day one, after mentioning that I was eliminating dairy from my diet, the owner suggested the almond cheese. It wasn't until weeks later (& many arepas later) that i read the ingredients on the cheese's website & discovered the truth. So totally unethical & just plain WRONG!
Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Jul 16, 2018Previous reviewunfortunately, it has come to my attention that the almond cheese used on the "Vegan Panini" as well as on other dishes when NO DAIRY is requested actually does contain cow derived ingredients! this is appalling & i truly hope that the owner rectifies the situation immediately. regardless of why you have dietary restrictions (religious beliefs, ethical beliefs or just plain food allergies) you trust that places you go to & pay are being honest with their ingredients. I work around the corner from Sanato's & hope they make things right soon because they did have some yummy eats...
Jan 26, 2018Previous reviewJust discovered this little gem tucked away on a one-way street, just across the street from Coral Gables Elementary. I ordered over the phone & walked over to pick it up. The gentleman that was there began making suggestions to improve my order and i definitely walked away happy! I had the "Arepa Sanatos", a baked, healthy version of an Arepa made with corn flour, oat, carrot, chia, maca, hemp, flaxseed topped with avocado. Since i've eliminated dairy from my diet, I had asked him to not add the feta. He then suggested their "almond cheese". I also had their Fresh Lemonade (lemon, ginger & honey) which was delicious and an american coffee. Back to the arepa... while i appreciate what they are trying to do here, the arepa, while decently satisfying, was not delicious. The arepa itself was completely flavourless & a bit like eating cardboard. Maybe I had a bad batch or maybe the feta cheese would have given it the necessary salt. i'm willing to try it again. As for the avocado mash? very fresh but also flavourless! I was hoping for some salt, pepper, lime , heat from spice? something! ANYTHING! I'm rating it 4 stars because i'm sure they have alot more to offer (service was great & they have an adorable mini mart with vegan & healthy treats) and a menu full of yummy looking dishes! i'm definitely trying an açaà bowl next time!
