Stopped in for lunch around 12pm on a Friday with some co-workers and we are glad we did. This place is small but has both inside and outdoor seating. We choose to sit outdoors since it was a nice breezy day. The menu is a good size, so we decided to go for sandwiches. Majority of us go the Burrata and Prosciutto sandwich with their home cut and fried fries. When we got it, it through us off that the sandwich was with a beget and not ciabatta, but it did not matter because it was delicious! They told us that they make their burrata in house. It was rich and creamy, just perfect, it complemented the salt from the prosciutto and the sweet/tanginess from the balsamic that was drizzled on top beautifully.

The team was extremely hospitable and stop to chat when they were not busy.

I will be coming back to this place for sure!

I finally had lunch at Coffee Talk after just having coffee in my previous visits. I must say the food was so delicious; my Gorgonzola pear ravioli woke up my taste buds with rich, savory, sweet decadent flavors. My two friends loved their entrees as well which were lasagna and chicken Parmesan. We ended our lunch with an exquisite fruit tart and of course some coffee.

The service was superb, the chef answered all our questions and treated us super special.

I highly recommend this local restaurant, not only for the amazing food but for the ambiance and fantastic service. Please go and support our local restaurants.

A gem hole in the wall restaurant in SOMI. Went for breakfast and order the grandpa sandwich and the prosciutto and burrata sandwich. Both were spectacular. The prosciutto sandwich was definitely the star of the show. The ingredients tasted fresh, the bread was soft, and was super satisfying. We also got an order of the vanilla bean cold brew which was the perfect balance of sweet and coffee flavor. As well as an iced espresso, equally delicious. The owner was extremely friendly and the service was kind. We are excited to go back and try the dinner menu.

I stopped by Coffee Talk as they were one of the few places open when I went for a walk after errands in South Miami. The shop was open with all the officialist precautions but were serving brunch. Now you know my usual brunch favorite, which I haven't had in forever. Thus, I decided to treat myself.

My order consisted of a full course brunch. Their eggs benny consists of fresh kale with a tasty vinaigrette dressing, perfectly fried eggs with a light hollandaise and sliced deli ham on a baguette. I enjoyed the creative combination of ingredients and flavors! Next up - of course - was dessert. My choice was their chocolate filled croissant (with additional chocolate drizzle). The chocolate was rich, and the filling inside was equally generous. I believe they make it in-house.

I also ordered two glasses of fresh squeezed OJ with no added sugar. The oranges were naturally sweet, and packed with Vitamin C against the you know what.

While waiting, I chatted with the owner who said she had opened before this quarantine mess started. Thus, I was especially glad to support a local business and look forward to coming back soon.

This is a local South Miami Italian joint where the owner, Omar (former chef of Caffe Abbraci) aims to please each and every single client.

The burrata, the bread, the pastas are all homemade. The ingredients are fresh. And every dish is made to order with careful pride and attention. He is literally willing to customize anything to your liking as if you are dining at his house. And on top of this, they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. It's such a pleasant and delicious experience.

A bit too heavy on the butter/oil for my liking
The eggs tasted too much of butter and so did the toast

Ordered takeout. Very easy to order. At pick up, one item wasn't available and they made a substitution and included complimentary tiramisu- which was also really nice.
The problem was the food was just so so. They gnocchi had a very soft texture my daughter described as slimy and the caccio y Pepe "ok". I have celiac and asked specifically about 2 dishes and was assured these were gluten free. Spent 5-7 am In Horrid gi distress. Gonna guess that the polenta was gluten free but the Alfredo sauce it was served with was not.
      Not going back. Ever

A little Rest with good potential but mixed feelings with regards to food. Polenta and special Raviolis were outstanding. Carbonara (not real Carbonara) and Sette Mare Pastas below average and pricey. Overall not bad experience but pricey to return, there are better options around.
